Why do you want to join the board? I originally joined the board because I wanted to update the governing documents to reflect current needs. The specific thing that got me was that a telegram was listed as an authorized way to contact residents. From there, I learned about the capital backlog of pipeline repair and the need for that work to be done in a pro-active, rather than reactive manner. In addition, I think that service to my community, in a variety of ways, is important and want to model that behavior for my children.
Occupation: I work for the Defense Innovation Unit, where I focus on bringing technology and capabilities into the Department of Defense on a normal commercial timeframe of a few months as compared to a traditional government timeframe of 5-8 years, as well as delivering better and cheaper options. I’m also a reservist in the United States Marine Corps, with a total of 22 years of service split almost equally between active duty and the reserves.
Interests/Hobbies: I regularly coach the soccer, baseball, and basketball teams that my two sons, ages 7 and 9, are on. I’m also actively involved in the West Chester Veterans of Foreign Wars post. At home, I enjoy planting and working with flowers and plant them so that they bloom from early Spring as far into the Fall as possible.

Years living in Providence Manor: 10 years; my husband bought our home 14 years ago before we were married.
Why do you want to join the board? I joined the board in 2023 with the intention of wanting to improve communication and also find ways to bring the community together. I renovated the PMHOA website, worked on reviewing & updating the language used in messaging to the community, and collaborated on updates of our governing documents. I also kicked off the First Friday Happy Hours, which have resulted in great attendance and many neighbors meeting for the first time.
I love living in our neighborhood and want to help it be a welcoming positive place for all of us. I think a lot can be accomplished through building and maintaining relationships with others. I’d like to continue the behind the scenes work to improve communication and modernize the governing documents to meet the needs of the neighborhood.
Occupation: I am self-employed with my creative business: Meister Made. I am a screen printer, laser engraver, and a maker of things. In my previous career, I worked about 18 years for Texas Christian University in the teaching excellence center as an instructional designer, manager of the online course platform, distance learning course designer, training designer/facilitatior, graphic & web designer, and ran a learning support help desk for about 12,000 faculty, staff, and students.
I have diverse expertise in project management, customer service, communication, and marketing in both higher education, tech support, and creative businesses. I’m a solid mix of creative and super organized and have a knack for project management rollout while still seeing the details involved.
Interests/Hobbies: I’m a Texas transplant to Ohio and while I miss having my family and friends in Texas nearby, I really enjoy living here. I’m founder and president of the TCU Alumni Cincinnati Club (Go Horned Frogs!) I’m passionate about art & music and I’m happiest when I am being creative. I love spending time with my husband Eric and dog Ollie who are always up for an adventure whether it’s trying a new coffee shop together or getting away to a cabin in Hocking Hills.

Why do you want to join the board? This has been our only home in West Chester. We have a very nice community and I would like to give back to the neighborhood by taking a stint on the board. A project I want to finish is summarizing the large storm sewer pipe reline work to make it easier for the next person to start working on the continuation of this project.

Interests/Hobbies: I am involved in the music program at St Maximilian Kolbe parish. I spend October- April preparing for and then doing taxes for seniors through Tax-aide. I like to knit, read, listen to James Taylor and Carly Simon and hang out with my grandkids and neighbor kids.
